“Booker T(ees Off) Washington”
May 23, 2012
Sunday, on “Meep! The Press!”, Newark mayor Cory Booker burped. It was a loud burp, and long. But, truth be told, it was a breath of fresh air compared to the acrid environs of NBC. Still, for all the ruckus it stirred, and the asinine “I Stand With Cory” petitions circulated by GOP’ers, it was only a burp.
The “excuse me” was a bit delayed, but let’s not delude ourselves into thinking Booker never intended to walk it back. Sure, he may have been a bit surprised at the raised eyebrows and whispers of “How rude!”, but only because of the Prog culture.
He was on NBC, after all, a place that prides itself on hiring “talent” who continuously belch, fart, & scratch themselves (rhetorically) on air. (And let’s not even get into the antics of hosts at their sister station, MORE Scatalogical NBC.) And all with no apology offered. Ever.
All tangential.. The point is, the reaction to Cory’s (seeming) desire to stray from the political cotton fields is core Progressive modus operandi. The Proglodytes appointed themselves sole caretakers of select people groups long ago. Their only real struggle (thanks largely to Marcuse keeping US busy on other fronts) since then has been maintaining that grip.
Ethnic, gender, religious, and Faberge egg groups were carefully placed into boxes, the sides of which were comprised of the soft bigotry of low expectations. Attempt escape, face the whip.
Consider: Marco Rubio’s security detail increased, due to death threats. Why? Because he’s not a real Cuban, B. He’s a Republican, and that’s not cool. Same for Republican Herman Cain, a fake black man, obviously. He was run out of a Presidential primary by the “he’s after the white women” bogeyman. Conservative women like Palin and Bachmann? Called every single name that the shrieking harridans over at NOW would have swallowed their tongues over, had those words been used to describe an “enlightened” (read: real) woman.
Racial prejudice and stereotype are the Progs’ mothers’ milk. Used equally as both carrot and stick, since 1866.
“MOST whites won’t give you a fair shake, but WE care.”
“Others in your people group will reject you if you get uppity.”
And poor Cory Booker, even after his “excuse me” & the “walk back” to the Prog plantation, still feels the slave dogs biting at his heels. The Left is still, today, yammering on about his Bain Capital ties. Why? He took back the burp and even picked up his cotton sack again! Whips, still? Why?
As a warning.
“Never do that again, boy. We own you & your people group.”
Intimidation. Instituted by the Democrat party with the KKK. And perfected since.
And the saddest part of this sordid little saga? Some in the “people group” box are loathe to admit that they can see its walls, but far too many simply can’t.
This is precisely why I fiercely advocate on behalf of Federalism, first principles, and laissez-faire capitalism, where ALL are seen as, and forced to BE, individuals.
